This set of illustrations is custom-created for the special exhibition Words on the Wave at the National Museum of Ireland, focusing on the cultural exchanges between Ireland and Western Europe during the Early Medieval period. Through visual storytelling, the work reconstructs the journey of Irish monks traveling from their home monastery in Ireland to the monastery in St Gallen, vividly embodying the historical trajectory of cross-regional religious and cultural transmission in this era.
