This set of illustrations is custom-created for the special exhibition Words on the Wave at the National Museum of Ireland, focusing on the cultural exchanges between Ireland and Western Europe during the Early Medieval period. Through visual storytelling, the work reconstructs the journey of Irish monks traveling from their home monastery in Ireland to the monastery in St Gallen, vividly embodying the historical trajectory of cross-regional religious and cultural transmission in this era.
Irish Section：The 3 panels progressively depict the monks’ journey within Ireland—starting from their monastery, passing through iconic local landscapes and religious scenes, and conveying the cultural context and religious atmosphere of their homeland.


European Section：Tthis section portrays the monks’ travels across continental Western Europe. It integrates regional geographical features and cultural elements along the way, highlighting the cultural collisions and integration that occurred during their cross-regional migration.

The theme is "Understanding and Supporting Students with Learning Differences". This report will discuss some key issues to help educators and schools better understand this group of students, challenge fixed mindsets about how students develop and learn, and emphasize research results and best practices. The report includes explaining learning differences like dyslexia to students, looking at neurodiversity from a strengths-based perspective, addressing issues of under diagnosis and over diagnosis, and explaining nonverbal learning disabilities.
